Sevacare Wins New Contracts in Sandwell and Birmingham

December 2011

Following the successful contract win in Rotherham earlier this month, Sevacare is delighted to announce the significant contract award from Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council to provide Generic Homecare Support Services to a range of people within the borough. The new contract will see Sevacare as a secondary provider, alongside two other providers, in West Bromwich, Wednesbury and Smethwick delivering over 3,600 hours of care and support each week across all three zones.

Furthermore, Sevacare has also been successful in securing a contract with Birmingham City Council to provide a City-wide Emergency Discharge Service working in partnership with three main hospitals in the City: Good Hope, Heartlands and City. This service will reable Service Users following a period of time in hospital.

Sevacare is a well respected and established provider in the West Midlands, in particular in Birmingham and Sandwell, delivering over 14,500 hours each week with 700 hours being delivered solely in the borough of Sandwell. The contract win will see Sevacare continue to develop its support services across all three zones and maintain its established working partnership with the Council.

Our established relationships working with Birmingham City Council and Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council are essential in delivering personalised care and support services. We are delighted our high quality care services are continually being recognised in the region.”
