Ravi Bains (MA, BSc Hons) – Owner / Chairman

 Ravi Bains (MA, BSc Hons) – Owner / Chairman

Ravi is the owner and Chairman of Sevacare. He established the business in 1998 after recognising a need for domiciliary care for BME elders in Birmingham. Since that point he has gone on to build Sevacare into the business it is today, with a number of locations nationwide and a position within the top ten national homecare providers.


Roger Booker (BA ACA) – Chief Executive Officer

Chief Executive of Sevacare, with full executive responsibility for the strategy, management and running of the business, Roger joined Sevacare in January 2009 from his previous position of Executive Director of Care UK. In the short time Roger has been with Sevacare he has led the Company's acquisition strategy and directed Sevacare's significant business expansion.

Roger has spent the last 15 years of his career developing and improving domiciliary care services and is a leading exponent of the drive to move service delivery to one that focuses on outcomes and choice for the individual. His experience will ensure that Sevacare continues to be a high quality provider, builds on its robust business portfolio and takes a leading role in the Personalisation changes that face the industry.


Philip Talbot (BSc ACA) – Finance Director

 Philip Talbot – Finance Director

Phil has been the Finance Director of Sevacare since 2001 and is responsible for all financial aspects of the company. During his tenure, turnover has grown from £1m to £27m, predominantly through organic growth. Phil is a key member of senior management team, involved in tendering and contract management. He also has an input into all operational issues.


Jenny Pitt – Director of Care Services (Midlands)

 Jenny Pitt – Director of Care Services (Midlands)

Jenny has over 10 years experience working in Domiciliary Care. She started work with Sevacare in 2000 as a Team Leader and has steadily progressed through the company to her current position of Director of Care Services (Midlands). Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, Jenny assumes overall responsibility for all care management and related duties within the region as well as developing new initiatives and strategies.


Darren Stapelberg – Director of Care Services (South)

 Darren Stapelberg – Director of Care Services (South)

Director of Care Services (South) for Sevacare since 2008, Darren is very experienced in domiciliary care. He was previously Operations Manager-South of Supporta Care Limited since October 2006, with responsibility for delivering in excess of 32,000 hours of care per week, across 27 Local Authorities. He was Business Manager of Medico Nursing and Homecare (Nestor Group) from December 2004. His experience as an Operations Manager for nearly five years is supplemented by a further six years’ experience within the health and social care recruitment industry. Darren is a team player who has a credible and successful track record in growing and developing health and social care companies, both organically and by acquisition, while consistently delivering high quality services.


Helen Baker – Director of Care Services (North West)

Helen built a domiciliary care business in the Wirral over 8 years to a volume of 4,000 hours per week. Her business was sold to Careforce in 2007 whereupon Helen took on a management role with that Company. She was promoted to Careforce Regional Director in the North in 2008, responsible for 10 branches and managing some 15,000 hours a week. Helen has a proven track record of improving operational performance and service quality.


Debbie Dennis - Care Services Director (East)

Debbie is a recent recruit to Sevacare and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to draw upon. Debbie started her career in care as a Care Worker and steadily progressed into Senior Management positions for the Mears group and an equivalent senior operational and development role for Home Choice Care. Debbie has a proven track record of business development and maintaining excellent service quality.


Joanne Smith – Training and Quality Assurance Manager

 Joanne Smith – Director of Workforce Development

Jo has 25 years experience in the field of care services and has experience in working with children and families, people with learning difficulties, physical disabilities, young offenders and the elderly. She started work with Sevacare in 2001 as Manager of our Northampton Branch and steadily progressed through the Company to her current position of Training and Quality Assurance Manager. Jo has responsibility for Training, quality assurance and health & safety.
