With our experienced and trained staff team, we provide a wide range of personal and practical care and support services to people directly in their own homes. These include:
Personal care assisting with
Practical care
In addition we can help with intensive home care for people with very high needs, or provide care at home when someone is nearing the end of their life, or give much-needed respite for family carers.
We care and support:
If you, or a relative or friend, need help to remain living at home, you may be entitled to financial support, either from the local Council or Benefits agency. Unlike care in hospital, care at home is not free, but, if there is only a little money available, the Council may be able to pay for a service. You will need to contact the Council’s Social Services department and arrange for a social worker to come out and carry out a needs assessment. After this, the Council will arrange for a homecare provider, perhaps Sevacare, to deliver the service. You can choose who you want as the service provider. The person receiving the care and support via the Council is entitled to a direct payment if they wish, whereby an amount of money is paid by the Council to the person for the person to spend on their care and support. Ask the Council about this. If more support than the Council can pay for is needed, or if there is no entitlement to financial support, then this will have to be paid for privately. The provider of the service will come out and discuss what is needed, the best times for care and support to be provided, any individual preferences or needs and will tell you how much the service will cost.
Have a look at our Locations page to see if we run services in your area and then contact the local manager for more help.
