Bradford Celebrates 1st Year in Business

Sevacare’s branch in Bradford has recently celebrated its 1st year in business. The branch opened November 17th 2008, delivering 450 hours of weekly homecare and employing 30 care staff. The branch was opened with Kim Stockdill as Business manager and Julie Wadsworth and Gul Hussain as Care Managers.
With successful growth, the branch has successfully implemented a further 1,550 hours per week and also recruited 39 extra staff members. In addition, the branch has also employed an extra Care Manager, Dee Buckley and a Branch Administrator, Andrew Onions. Furthermore, the first inspection by CQC awarded the branch a 2 Star Good Service rating which is the highest rating to achieve on first inspection.
In honour of the achievement and hard work executed by the staff, the branch held a party to celebrate their success. Kim Stockdill, Branch Manager said “We aim to continue the growth of the branch and to become the largest homecare provider in Bradford. However, quality is the forefront of our business and we are working with many community programmes including QED to recruit staff to help us deliver a quality service in Bradford and to enable us to recruit a diverse work force.”
